I luv the message, we need more MC`s like Jasiri X and less buffoons like lil` wayne and rick ross. The black race needs to be inspired, the right word, may hit the right nerve. I`ve had enough of “Iam a hustla, Iam a pimp, I fuck hoes, I smoke weed” bullshit. How long do these uncreative ass-holes think we as adults in hip-hop can stomach their bullshit for? Most of these rappers sound so faggish nowadays, that I just wish to meet them in person and give them a good ass-whipping. Luv and respect to the Real MC`s holding it down. Creativity, real passion and true inspiration in hip-hop, are elements which can never be killed by these niggers who have sold their souls to these record labels.
The popularity of this video tells me ghetto America is so confused that common sense has become an anointed social perspective, as opposed to something that was previously just culturally assumed.
This guy’s tight. Jasiri X. I’ve been checking out his blog too for a few months now to see his videos. I post them on a few other message boards I go to which don’t have a lot of hip hop fans, and getting mostly compliments about him there. They think hip hop is what’s on the radio, songs about clubs and cars, etc. I can’t imagine what information would be like today if we didn’t have the internet.
