New Details Released In Dolla Shooting |

 Monday afternoon (May 18), 21-year-old rapper Dolla lost his life, as the result of a shooting at the Beverly Center shopping mall in Los Angeles.As reports came in yesterday, it was learned that a man named Aubrey Louis Berry was arrested in connection with the shooting at the LAX airport, and now, further details have emerged since.Berry is a resident of Snellville, GA, a suburb about 25 miles Northeast of Atlanta, and is currently being held on $1 million bond for the murder of Dolla (real name: Roderick Anthony Burton II).He was arrested at LAX, attempting to board a flight, immediately after dropping off a rental car and making his way to the terminal.
“As the officers approached the suspect, they asked him ‘Do you know why we’re here?’ ” Airport Police spokesman Sgt. Jim Holcomb told the Associated Press. “He put his [hands] up in the air and said, ‘Yes, I’ve got a gun in my waistband. Don’t shoot me.’ ” They found a loaded 9mm semiautomatic handgun, and immediately turned the suspect over to LAPD police. Two other suspects, a man and a woman, are being questioned as “persons of interest,” but as of press time, have not been charged. They were found at the airport with Berry and arrested before attempting to board a flight at LAX. Authorities initially believed the shooting took place following a spontaneous argument between the two young men. However, new evidence indicates that Berry and Dolla may have known each other. Dolla had been a resident of Atlanta since the age of five. The rapper’s publicist Sue Vannasing has spoken to the media regarding the incident, vaguely revealing details. She says Dolla arrived at LAX to record new music for his album in Los Angeles, but before he left the airport he got into an altercation. “They followed him to the mall because they knew he was coming,” Vannasing said The rapper was just 21 years old, and had a bright future ahead of him. In 2007, he inked a deal with Akon’s Konvict Muzik label, and began to generate a buzz, via the mildly successful debut single, “Who The F*** Is That?” featuring T-Pain. He had been working on his debut album, Dolla & A Dream, that was expected sometime late this year. |

I saw Dolla blow the booth up on Rap City. He definitely was an emcee, lyricist, and rapper. You can tell that he lived the life he was rhyming about. It’s real sad when our young talent aren’t given their chance to shine. I could tell that Dolla was going to be a Big Thing in rap music. He’ll be greatly missed.
I’ve researched multiple accounts of the murder and circumstances of Tupac Amaru Shakur. I’m noticing remarkable similar circumstances between Tupac Shakur and these other artists: 1) The Rapper Dolla (Roderick Burton II), 2) The Singer Aaliyah, 3) The Singer-Rapper Lisa Lopes (Left Eye), and 4) The Rapper Notorious B.I.G (Christoper Wallace). I am going to list these coincidences and I’m assuming that there will be more. Let me know if you know of anything not listed here.

1) Dolla was born on November 25th
2) Aaliyah died on the 25th
3) Tupac was 25 when he died (the number “7” (2+5) surrounds Tupac’s life and death)
4) Lisa Lopes died on the 25th
5) Big was almost 25 when he died
6) My Best Friend died on May 25 (25 seems to be a powerful Spiritual Number for Artists of African American Descent)
Concidence 2: Location Associations Between Tupac & Dolla’s Killer(s)
1) Tupac, Death Row, both associated with Compton. So was Orlando Anderson
2) They all “surprisingly” meet up at a public place. A struggle ensures
3) Dolla and his killer were both associated with Atlanta, Georgia
4) They all “surprisingly” meet up at a public place. A confrontation ensures
5) Popular California Malls are both associated with Tupac’s and Dolla’s deaths
6) Orlando Anderson looked so much like Tupac that “family ties” were rumored
7) Both men were “caught on video tape” and publicly murdered

3) Most of these mentioned artists stayed or visited the Mid Western States

2) BTH will be celebrating the life of Dolla
Coincidence 6: The Connection To Malcolm X-El Hajj Malik El Shabazz
1) Malcolm X was publicly killed on May 19th. His chosen name was El Hajj Malik El Shabazz
2) Dolla was killed publicly on May 18th. Dollar was with DJ Shabazz during his death.
Coincidence 7: The Presence Of Suge Knight
1) Suge Knight was present at Tupac’s murder
2) Lisa Lopes was signed to Death Row (Suge Knight’s label) when she died
3) Bad Boy Artist “Big” was “beefing” with Death Row when he was murdered
4) Dolla was singed to Akon’s “Konvict Music” (which also had issues with Suge Knight) when Dolla was murdered
Coincidence 8: Tupac & Dolla Were Both Stand Up, “Good Guys”, With “Good Hearts”
1) People who worked with Tupac and Dolla both say that they were honest, spiritual, “good natured”, humorous, caring, polite, and giving
Coincidence 9: Every One Of These Artists Were Phenominal & Mysterious
1) All four of these artists had superior (God Like) talent. Lisa Lopes spoke about escaping from the clutches of the Entertainment Business World. Maybe They all did. Maybe that’s why the circumstances often seemed “planned” and Mysterious.
These are all the similarities I have found between the deaths of these Great Artists. If there are more, please let me know. The first time I saw Dolla Blaze in the Booth (Rap City). I was in awe. I really don’t buy rap cd’s any more. But I would have and will buy Dolla’s CD. He would have been the next Big Thing in rap music, and he will be greatly missed.
