14 Days Later..Still No Charges for 6 LAPD Officers Who Shot 2 Innocent Women

Davey-D-brown-frameToday the lead story on corporate news here locally and nationally has been the case in South Africa around the so-called blade-runner ‘Oscar Pistorius‘ shooting his girlfriend.. They even have a local reporter on the ground in front of courthouse.. Glad to see our media is NOW interested in what goes on in Africa.. yes its a bizarre case, but so are the policies or lacktherof around Mali and the Congo where our media has essentially been absent or the new Obama drone base being built in Niger where they’ve been silent.

So while we talk about Pistorius, what’s being swept under the rug is the plight of the 6 LAPD officers who shot those two Latina women 71-year-old Emma Hernandez, and her daughter Margie Carranza who were delivering newspapers in a bright blue truck.. Police fired off close to 50 rounds because they thought the women were Christopher Dorner who was Black and driving a grey truck.. I’ve called LAPD and they say the names of the officers are still not released as the case is still under investigation.

Truck shot upPeople are saying the women will get paid after they sue and for that many cheer.. Many were applauding that LAPD will give the women a new a truck..A couple of things to keep in mind.. getting paid for police opening fire w/o identifying themselves or issuing you commands is not justice..Arresting those officers, charging them for attempted murder and gross negligence and making sure they are fired and not just placed on paid administrative leave, is justice..If either of those women have been killed, saying it was an accident or case of mistaken identity would not suffice..By the way.. the new truck LAPD promised to get the women hasn’t happened yet..

LAPD Chief Charlie Beck

LAPD Chief Charlie Beck

LAPD Chief Charlie Beck the other day, has stated that he has not yet made up his mind as to whether or not the officers who he said were working under tremendous stress will be disciplined..He also noted that Dorner’s Manifesto did have an effect on LAPD’s reputation..Its one they are now trying to repair..

No word from LA’s district attorney, Jackie Lacey if she’ll press charges..This is why we need to push to have separate arm of government where they have a prosecutor  that deals with elected officials and police..Until then you can call LA DA’s office at (213) 974-3512 or email them webmail@da.lacounty.gov  ..You can email Chief Beck at contact.lapdonline@gmail.com

Many of us have forgotten and have gotten used to police terrorism that we don’t push for what is right…While those police officers remain shielded from the public, someone managed to take pictures of Dorner’s burnt body and as was the case once upon a time back when they sold pictures of post cards of Black men being hung, they are selling the pictures of Dorner.. God Bless America..

PS..Since today is the day Malcolm X was killed Feb 21 1965.. We should remind you of what he had to say about LAPD

I am very puzzled as to why there’s even a question as to to whether or not something serious has to be done. And more than just the LAPD was involved. The police actually ‘ambushed’ two vehicles and shot at a skinny white hiker. There is an article online right now that takes on this very issue and it is well worth reading.

    LAPD’s Indefensible Dorner Pursuit.

If someone didn’t know all he crazy that occurred from previous online/print newspapers and magazines, this one article lays out all the information you need to understand that the LAPD is just circling the wagons again.

That there’s even a question as to whether or not something not quite right occurred during the manhunt is really quite perplexing, for lack of a better word.

  3. No arrests? Oh my! I’m shocked! *sarcastic voice*

  4. I smell a riot brewin’ (RED)

  5. Out of control with the police taking advantage of their powers.

  6. The LAPD shoot up 2 vehicles with unarmed drivers, they purposely burn a suspect alive and not even a slap on the wrist for those police that committed these crimes. Major media ignores it. So this is American Justice. Charlie Beck should be fired!

  7. smh.. Im not surprised.. -purple

  9. They say justice is blind, and perhaps it is, just not in the way we wish it was.

Justice is supposed to be blind to race, gender, occupation or wealth so that all are equal before the law and nobody is above the law. Our justice system IS blind, but it is blinded by greed, and when that greed is about to be exposed it is blinded again by rage. This was evident when the LAPD in its hysteria induced manhunt for Chris Dorner opened fire without warning on two Latina women, age 47 and 71, who were delivering newspapers in a truck of completely different make, model, and license plate than the truck Dorner was allegedly driving. This not a case of mistaken identity, but a case of blind rage on behalf of the LAPD.

  10. Thanks D. Sent off my email to DA (CC’d to LAPD) just moments ago

Davey D. I don’t live in L.A. County, but I emailed the D.A. through your link and expressed that I expect these 6 LAPD officers to be charged with attempted murder or I will support the campaign of her opponent during re-election time. The only way these officers roam the streets like mafia murder squads is when they know their superiors will protect them. The problem here is the Police Chief and the D.A. The way you clean their clock is to politically support their opponents and do everything you can to use these events to run a campaign to oust them from office.

Thank you Davey D for posting the names of the the LAPD police chief Beck and the DA Jackie Lacey. We all need to put pressure on them to keep our society functioning within the law and not having corrupt/lawless police thugs murdering people instead of arresting them.

  14. The LAPD is the biggest organized gang in the USA next to NYPD. Period!

  15. There’s no such thing as justice in AmeriKKa

  16. damn i just kill a innocent person time WTF BIG

  17. Wow im speechless

There was not only, “not an arrest” but the LAPD and the DA’s office are not answering letters and email from the public (not even a form letter) when asking for these police to be charged with attempted murder. The LAPD and DA’s office are also HIDING the names of the officers involved from the public. I am unable to find the names of these police officers who are on “paid vacation”. How do we even know they aren’t on the street if we don’t know who they are???

The LA County media won’t even respond to letters & emails I’ve written asking why they haven’t pursued the story about Emma Hernandez and these violent cops further. It’s like the whole city of Los Angeles wants to sweep this under the rug and act like they don’t have assassin squads working in the LAPD.
