This is what Hip Hop is supposed to do.. Represent the real in a meaningful way

Pittsburgh artist Jasiri X deserves major major props for this incredible song and video that speaks about our collective pain and struggles..

Here Jasiri X tells the story of Jordan Miles, the 18 year old honor student who was brutally beaten by 3 undercover Pittsburgh Police officers while walking to his grandmother’s house. “Jordan Miles” was mixed by Diezel and directed by Paradise Gray.

  1. Nice touch bringing this artist a mention. I had heard of Jordan Miles, but not of the rapper. He really has done something right and good here, as have you by posting it here. Much respect

  2. I noticed the Ali tee he’s wearing and got to wondering to myself where’s Hines Ward. How come James Harrison or Palumalu or Mendenhall(who caught heat over his Bin Laden comments) weren’t in the video. Maybe these stories will start to get more press if these “stars” start to support those that support them.
