  1. Yem Yo ( greetings in my language), I really appreciate this interview, Davey D asked important questions such as marriage, business etc. This gives me a whole new lens into which I could look at E-40. I am proud of his accomplish and also his willingness to remain humble despite all of his material possession. We need more people like him……

    Respect,

    Yoknyam

  2. correction: accomplishment

  3. Write more, thats all I have to say. Literally, it seems as though you
relied on the video to make your point. You clearly know what youre talking about, why
throw away your intelligence on just posting videos to your blog when you could be giving us something informative to read?

  4. What a great Christmas present from Mr. Davey D! Thanks for sharing this great interview featuring the ambassador of the Bay- E-40. I always wondered what the Davey D take on Hyphy music was. Even though it hit its peak back in 2006, it was still an interesting cultural phenomenon for the Bay Area hip hop scene. E-40 has managed to outlast any and all fads, however, and continues to deliver dynamic slanguage over synth-laced beats that reflect youth trends in the streets.
